From incredible wildlife watching, to scenic wonders, cultural experiences and thousands of kilometres of unspoilt coastline, South Africa really does have it all. Divided into nine provinces this diverse country is bordered by Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland, and surrounds the tiny nation of Lesotho, making it the perfect jumping off point for further excursions into Africa.
Begin your travels in cosmopolitan Cape Town. Discover the thriving food scene, try thrill-seeking pastimes like abseiling Table Mountain, or learn about the city’s struggle for freedom with a trip to UNESCO World heritage site, Robben Island, where former President Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years.
A one-hour drive from Cape Town you’ll find The Winelands – including Constantia, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, Robertson and Wellington. Exploring centuries-old vineyards and taste from the cellar doors scattered throughout this region.
Heading east, self-drive down the Garden Route – stretching along coastal roads from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. Time your journey to coincide with whale watching from July to November. The Eastern Cape, or the Wild Coast, is worth visiting for its rugged cliffs, dramatic rough seas and dense bushland.
The KwaZulu Natal Province is home to the famous fields where battles were fought between Zulus, Boers and the British. Many locations of historic and cultural interest still remain in this region.
South Africa safaris are legendary and its luxury wildlife lodges are among the best in the world. Kruger Park is the second largest reserve in Africa, stretching 360km from north to south and teeming with big cats, rhino and elephants. A short flight from Johannesburg is the 75,000 acre Madikwe Game Reserve, the world’s largest wildlife trans-location project.
Rishabh HegdeMarch 5, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So we used The Pravasi for my honeymoon recently. I spoke to them about what i wanted, the locations, hotels, my likes and dislikes and they got back to me with suggestions and a curated programme. I was very happy with everything. We went to South Africa with their help. From stay, travel, food to itinerary everything was planned. I had someone to talk to at Pravasi and locally 24x7 if i ever needed something. I had a driver guide full time. Activities, food was already paid for. Their staff were really friendly. Locally i met Yvette wh was also very open and friendly. We made changes to plans sometimes but they were very accomodating about that too and helped us with the same. Overall very happy with Kamaya and her team. Thanks for everything, loved it!Shrivatsa SomanyJanuary 15, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Kamaya and her team at Pravasi were fantastic. We had such a beautiful experience in Thailand and it’s all thanks to Camya and THE PRAVASI team! They are really are fab at what they do. Camya gave us some of the best recommendations for places to eat , stay and visit and what we appreciate the most is that she took the time to understad our personal vibe and got that just right. THE PRAVASI is also very budget friendly. All their services including the pick ups from all the locations or even sharing the visa form prior with us so that we don't have to wait in line to get our visa in Thailand was all so meticulously planned. There wasn't a single hiccup anywhere and we had the most pleasant trip. We are so glad that we planned our holiday with The Pravasi and they will be our go to choice for all holidays going forward. Highly reccomend them to anyone who loves to travel and experience different places THE PRAVASI way! More power to you guys!Rushang ShahMarch 7, 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. All services offered - Bookings & transfers were excellent.Biswa ArijitOctober 11, 2021Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It is easier to just google stuff and make a boutique experience out of the trips. Seems like travel influencers off late just want to start these shops and bank on free travelling because of what we pay them. Good marks to the idea but during execution it just seems unoriginal. Nothing that you can't find off the internet. Better prepare your own itinerary than waste money here. My wife did not like the arrogance at display either. Disappointed.Ity AggarwalSeptember 6, 2021Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.I have had a very good experience with them. Kamya is a very responsible person, especially in these times one needs correct information and she is always on the point. Quick to response, easy to work with, good attitude, informative and connected, my go to person for all my travels.Google rating score: 4.8 of 5, based on 24 reviews.
