Occupying over one million square kilometres of land (roughly the size of Alaska), Mongolia is one of the last untamed wilderness frontiers. Tucked between China and Russia, it’s a land of extremes, offering snow-capped mountains, verdant plateaus, silver flowing rivers, and remote, windswept desert.
Mongolia remains ripe with mystery and intrigue and has a unique mix of Russian, Chinese, and Tibetan influences. Witness nomadic horsemen ride across the desert plains, taking shelter in traditional ‘gers’ (Mongolian felt tents). Visit the annual Naadam festival – a warrior challenge including wrestling, horse racing and archery, designed to test courage and strength. Explore magnificent palaces that once housed the Living Buddha and ancient kings. Discover the legend of Genghis Khan, the famed conqueror and emperor of the Mongol empire.
Once isolated from the world, today Mongolia has opened its borders, welcoming travellers from around the world who are seeking wild landscapes, extraordinary history, and rugged adventure. Visitors are encouraged to experience Mongolia’s nomadic culture first hand with an unforgettable homestay. Stay in a ger for the night, ride horses, assist farmers as they round up their herds, and join a local family to sample airag, the traditional fermented milk drink.
Visit the capital of Ulaanbaatar, the iconic sand dunes and stunning mountains of the Gobi Desert, or ancient monasteries in Tsetserleg. Whether you’re trekking the desert sands by camel, plunging into an icy lake or seeing monks chanting their morning prayers, the experience of visiting Mongolia will leave an indelible mark, in a language older than time.
Rishabh HegdeMarch 5, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. So we used The Pravasi for my honeymoon recently. I spoke to them about what i wanted, the locations, hotels, my likes and dislikes and they got back to me with suggestions and a curated programme. I was very happy with everything. We went to South Africa with their help. From stay, travel, food to itinerary everything was planned. I had someone to talk to at Pravasi and locally 24x7 if i ever needed something. I had a driver guide full time. Activities, food was already paid for. Their staff were really friendly. Locally i met Yvette wh was also very open and friendly. We made changes to plans sometimes but they were very accomodating about that too and helped us with the same. Overall very happy with Kamaya and her team. Thanks for everything, loved it!Shrivatsa SomanyJanuary 15, 2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.Kamaya and her team at Pravasi were fantastic. We had such a beautiful experience in Thailand and it’s all thanks to Camya and THE PRAVASI team! They are really are fab at what they do. Camya gave us some of the best recommendations for places to eat , stay and visit and what we appreciate the most is that she took the time to understad our personal vibe and got that just right. THE PRAVASI is also very budget friendly. All their services including the pick ups from all the locations or even sharing the visa form prior with us so that we don't have to wait in line to get our visa in Thailand was all so meticulously planned. There wasn't a single hiccup anywhere and we had the most pleasant trip. We are so glad that we planned our holiday with The Pravasi and they will be our go to choice for all holidays going forward. Highly reccomend them to anyone who loves to travel and experience different places THE PRAVASI way! More power to you guys!Rushang ShahMarch 7, 2022Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. All services offered - Bookings & transfers were excellent.Biswa ArijitOctober 11, 2021Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It is easier to just google stuff and make a boutique experience out of the trips. Seems like travel influencers off late just want to start these shops and bank on free travelling because of what we pay them. Good marks to the idea but during execution it just seems unoriginal. Nothing that you can't find off the internet. Better prepare your own itinerary than waste money here. My wife did not like the arrogance at display either. Disappointed.Ity AggarwalSeptember 6, 2021Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.I have had a very good experience with them. Kamya is a very responsible person, especially in these times one needs correct information and she is always on the point. Quick to response, easy to work with, good attitude, informative and connected, my go to person for all my travels.Google rating score: 4.8 of 5, based on 24 reviews.
